At this temperature, I extract all the aromatic compounds from the spices, primarily cumin and pepper.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e This spiced alcoholate is the heart of the perfume, to which I've added 1980s lavender for a fresh top note.
