Dragon's Blood smoke in Gurjum Balsam

Another crazy experiment in the glass workshop.

This time we are going to capture the smoke produced by gently heating dragon's blood resin under a candle.

When the resin starts to smoke, I switch on the vacuum pump so that all the aromatic smoke generated by the heating passes through the gurjum balm.

In a way, you could say it's a destructive distillation captured in gurjum balm.

The result is a smoky and leathery aroma, a long-lasting amber scent reminiscent of ancient temples.
