Yemeni Myrrh – Pure Resin

This myrrh comes from Yemen, a region historically famous for producing some of the world's most exquisite aromatic resins. It is a myrrh of exceptional purity, carefully selected for the quality of its tears and the richness of its aroma.

Unlike many denser or more bitter myrrhs, this resin stands out for its remarkably lively and terpene-rich profile. Upon opening the jar, a very subtle —almost hidden— nuance appears at first: a faint citrusy flicker, delicate but perceptible, which brings a soft freshness and luminosity to the natural character of the resin.

As it unfolds, the aroma develops into the classic myrrh profile: warm, resinous, and softly balsamic, while maintaining an elegant and ethereal quality. Its fragrance shows remarkably long persistence, evolving slowly and with depth.

When burned, it reveals perhaps its most refined aspect. The smoke is soft, delicate, and wonderfully balanced, never heavy or overwhelming. Instead, it fills the space with a warm and contemplative presence, very different from the harsher character sometimes found in other myrrhs.
